ROVS Corp. (“ROVS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates rovscorp.com and rovscorp.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information in connection with these websites and our retail and wholesale services.

Please read this policy before providing personal information. Any consent required by applicable law will be requested through the relevant process; visiting our website does not waive your privacy rights.

We collect personal information directly from you when you place an order, contact us, or apply for a wholesale account. We collect only the information relevant to the purposes described in this policy.

Wholesale Information

For wholesale accounts, we may also collect:

  • Business name

  • Tobacco license number

  • Resale certificate

  • EIN or tax identification number

Payment Information

If you make a purchase, payment information (credit card, ACH, or other payment details) is processed securely by third-party payment processors.
ROVS Corp. does not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

2. Age Verification & Tobacco Compliance
 

Tobacco purchases are limited to customers age 21 or older. We require age verification before accepting a tobacco order for fulfillment. A website age confirmation alone is not our verification process. We verify age through Wix. We use this information to determine eligibility, prevent fraud, and meet applicable legal obligations. If age or identity cannot be verified, we will not fulfill the tobacco order. We disclose the information necessary to arrange delivery and adult-signature service to our shipping providers. We retain and disclose transaction or verification records when required by applicable tax, licensing, or other laws. Conventional cigars are excluded from the federal PACT Act; cigar transactions are not reported under that Act solely because they involve cigars.

3. Cookies and Automatically Collected Information

Our website and its service providers collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, access times, and referring websites. We use this information to operate the website, maintain security, and prevent fraud.

We use cookies and similar technologies for: essential website functions, preferences, analytics, and/or advertising. 

You may manage cookies through your device and browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect checkout and other website functions.

We use your personal information to:

  • Process and fulfill orders

  • Verify age eligibility

  • Verify wholesale licensing

  • We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by applicable law.

  • We disclose the information necessary for order fulfillment, payment processing, age verification, delivery, tax administration, hosting, security, and customer support to the relevant service providers. These providers include Bankful. Their use of information is governed by applicable contracts and law; some providers may also process information under their own privacy notices.

  • We may disclose information to government agencies or other parties when legally required, including for applicable tax or tobacco reporting, lawful requests, or the protection of legal rights. We do not report conventional cigar sales under the federal PACT Act solely because the products are cigars.

Depending on your residence and the laws applicable to ROVS, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information; opt out of certain processing; or exercise other rights provided by law.

To submit a request, email info@rovscorp.net or call 813-358-2677. Tell us the type of request and enough information to locate the relevant records. Please do not send identification documents by ordinary email unless we provide an appropriate verification process.

We verify requests when required, respond within applicable legal deadlines, and explain any legally permitted denial or limitation. Some records must be retained for legal, tax, transaction, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain each category of personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for its disclosed purpose, applicable legal obligations, and the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Order, payment, and tax records, age-verification results, identification images, if retained, wholesale credentials. customer-support and marketing records, cookie and website activity records. 

 

After the relevant retention period, information is deleted or deidentified, subject to lawful preservation requirements and documented backup deletion cycles.
 

8. International Users

Our services are operated from the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States only. Where applicable law requires a specific transfer mechanism or consent, we will use the required process. International tobacco order eligibility is addressed in our Shipping Policy.
